Comet Data Archive contains the data sets which have completed the
archiving process as well as the data sets still in development, or in the
process of being editing following an external peer review. Please note the
status of the data set you are exploring, and be wary of data that are not
marked Archived.
A description of the various file types you might encounter in the
various data sets can be found here. The form
at the bottom of this page may be used to contact node personnel or make special requests.
The collections, which reside on either CD or DVD disks are mounted on a
jukebox that may take as long as 30 seconds to swap a requested disk into
place before responding to a mouse click.
Cross-Identification Utilities allow using one designation of
a comet (or asteroid) to get a list of other names and designations
associated with this object.
Small Bodies Data Base will allow to enter one comet or
asteroid designation to get cross-identifications and compiled data from the
SBN archive holdings. This interface is currently in development.
