SBN Small Bodies Mission Support

EPOXI Mission

The EPOXI mission is the combination of two independently proposed scientific investigations using the flyby spacecraft of Deep Impact in an extended mission:

The EPOXI Mission web site is maintained by the University of Maryland; a mission timeline is available here. The Deep Impact Legacy web site maintained by JPL provides that mission. Deep Impact data are archived at SBN.

The SBN is the lead PDS node to archive the EPOXI mission data; the EPOXI project will also deliver PDS-formatted EPOCh data to the Multi-Mission Archive at the STScI (MAST). The approved Data Management and Archive Plan is available as a PDF file (0.7 MB), and the latest version of the Archive Volume and Data Product SIS is also available as a PDF file (1.2 MB). The latest version of the PDS catalog files that describe the mission and instruments for the EPOXI archive are available here.

Use PDS Subscription Service to receive an e-mail notification when EPOXI data sets are available online at PDS.
